What have I been doing?

I haven't made a journal entry in like forever... so I decided that I should probably update it today.
I switched from Nipissing university to Cambrian College, and I am now a graphic design student. Also, going to school at cambrian that also makes me an assosiate Registered Graphic Designer of Ontario (RGD) which is interesting.
Over the summer I got a job at a local confectionary store and I was robbed once. It wasn't painful, just sort of an... odd... experience. I pretty much just worked over the summer. Oh yeah and we moved to a "new" house. The house isn't really new, its just new to us.
I have been spending time getting better and better at vectoring. I don't really have room right now to bust out my supplies so thats why I have been focusing on the digital aspect. Also, now that I am in graphic design, I have to figure out how to use photoshop properly lol.
Well, thats basically a summary of what I have been doing...
Oh and I changed my featured deviation to Paintball Referee because Vectors are what I'm working on at this moment so just makes sense to update with my gallery.

Doesn't seem like christmas

It just doesn't seem like christmas.
1) No snow... I live in Canada, there should always be snow lol.
2) I couldn't find my christmas book that I read every year.
3) My family is separated into two different parties because there are two people fighting who can't friggen agree on ONE day.
4) THERE IS NO SNOOOOOW!
I was expecting to sign on Deviantart and see a journal entry posted by suetlilanglz
(spl?) about some witty insightful ... meaning or event towards a christmas themed journal, but alas, no journal.
Things just don't seem right this year. I think I'm getting too old for this lol, when I do have kids the excitement will return probably. My family is getting too old.
"we're so old... we should die" - Caitlin Hepner (we were 13 when she said that)

ack, I have to use ink for an assignment for art fundamentals and its driving me crazy. I hate it soooooooo much, its too... PERMANENT!!! lol I wanna just take the bottle of ink (and my work) and throw it out the door because its killing me!

Nipissing University...

So right now I am just chillin' out in the library. I just had my Psych Info session (just basically showing you how to find the articles that you will need for the projects here).
University has been interesting. I like living on my own. I love having more than just my computer desk to work at. I love having my own kitchen, and bathroom. I basically love everything about living on my own. I might be poor, but I'm having fun

I met some people here at Nipissing and they are really nice. Its cool meeting people from all different backgrounds. I have a girl thats in most of my classes and she's from another country. I am going to try and get out to Nipissing Canadore Christian Fellowship (NCCF) this week. Hopefully I'll make some more friends there too.
The art program here is demanding on different levels. Its not like its a lot of work, its just stuff I'm not used to doing. I don't really like just working with geometry and line to create an abstract piece. I prefer making something up using everythign I can think of. My professor is an abstract artist. She likes just messing around with geometry and line. I guess this is a good thing though. Why pay to go to university if you already know the information? Its good that I'm learning these new techniques the only problem is I have to practice them more because I'm rusty around the edges hahaha.
Something I have been eager to do lately (and pretty much every time I am awake I think about this... ) is PLAY PAINTBALL!!! I miss it and want to play so bad. So guys in sudbury, when I get down there, we gotta play!!!
Anyways, I'm out.

So I finally found a club that I really liked. I joined 
. It looks like a really good club, so hopefully that'll be lots of fun and the best part is their journal updates daily (I'm pretty sure) so I'll be able to view lots of different artists on DA. That'll be good
Anyways, Im in northbay now, and I've gotten my room all set up for university (my room is really cold but I'll fix that). So... ya... unversity starts on the 7th whoot, and House starts on the 5th (I'm excited!).
Hopefully that'll be all good. I just hope my tuition gets paid all good and everything lol.
